Fuselage is a leading CCTV company that does CCTV installations of top brands such as Hikvision, Mobotix, Geovision and Dahua CCTV camera systems. We can help with 8, 16 and 32 channel analog, IP network or hybrid CCTV Camera Systems incorporates Real-time day and night recordings.

With so many different types of CCTV cameras on the market, there are now a variety of solutions for every industry. As a result of this huge range, it can be difficult to choose which one is right for your home or business complex. Below are a few to help you decide.

CCTV Cameras

CCTV and Security systems for residential and commercial properties.

Dome Cameras

A dome CCTV camera gets its name from the dome-shaped casing that the camera sits in. Whilst these are relatively discreet CCTV cameras in appearance, this does not stop them from deterring criminals. This is because the dome casing makes it really difficult for people to see which direction the camera is pointing. This creates an air of uncertainty for potential thieves or vandals approaching from all directions.

Bullet Cameras

Bullet CCTV cameras have an iconic design that is highly visible. They are cylindrical in shape and are capable of observing long distances. Bullet cameras are most commonly placed outdoors so their casings are made resistant to water, dust and dirt.

C-Mount Cameras

C-Mount CCTV cameras are the ideal option for those who may wish to adapt the field of vision. They are equipped with detachable lenses that can be switched around to monitor varying distances. C-Mount cameras are typically bulky so, like bullet cameras, act as a visible deterrent to criminal activity.

Pan Tilt & Zoom Cameras

With a PTZ (Pan Tilt & Zoom) camera, your security team can have complete control on what is recorded. At the touch of a button, the camera lens can pan left and right, tilt up and down or zoom in and out. It is the ideal choice if you have a security guard who is monitoring a live video feed on site

Infrared/Night Vision Cameras

These cameras have been built specifically to operate effectively, regardless of how well lit their environment is. During both daytime and night-time, they will record clear video images that will not be obscured by differing light conditions. This is achieved through their extra sensitive imaging chips.

Infrared/Night Vision Cameras

As the name suggests, these cameras are designed to operate optimally in pitch black conditions. They achieve this by using infrared technology. Infrared models are more expensive than day/night cameras and those opting for this option usually do so because night recording is vital to the security of their business.

Alarm Systems

While CCTV will help monitor the home or office space, it will not completely deter an intruder and does little to alert neighbors and authorities of a break-in. This is where our alarm systems come in handy. We install alarm systems for all types of buildings. Call us today to secure your home/office.

Alarm System Types

Passive Infrared Motion Detectors

Also known as PIR sensors, these are the most common type of sensors homeowners use because they are practical and affordable. The term passive means that these detectors operate without any need to radiate and generate their own energy. PIR sensors can efficiently detect changes in the ambient temperature as well as body heat. If these sensors detect a temperature spike due to the presence of an intruder or foreign object, the alarm is set off. A thing to note is that infrared energy cannot pass through glass, so the alarm will not trigger due to the presence of people or animals outside.

Ultrasonic Detectors

Ultrasonic detectors use high-frequency sound waves to detect any kind of movement within a limited space. They transmit frequencies between 25 kHz and 75 kHz, which are inaudible to human ears. These frequencies are bounced off the walls, ceiling, as well as furniture in a protected room. And when there is any sudden change in the stabilized frequency, the alarm is triggered. Any moving object can change the frequency of the surrounding sound waves in the protected space, so these sensors will not discriminate between intruders and passersby.

Magnetic Switches

Magnetic switches are typically used for protecting doors and windows. Their ease of use, durability, and affordability makes them a popular choice. They consist of two separate parts i.e. the switch and the magnet, and homeowners can easily install them themselves. The switch creates an electrical circuit with the magnet when closed because it contains a spring. If a window or door is opened the circuit breaks and the alarm is triggered.

Microwave Detectors

Microwave detectors work in the same manner as ultrasonic detectors. However, they use high frequency radio waves instead of sound waves. The advantage of using microwave detectors is that radio waves can go through walls, so they provide relatively more coverage as compared to ultrasonic waves.

Photoelectric Beams

Photoelectric beams utilize infrared light beams in order to detect the presence of an intruder. These infrared light beams are usually stacked in rows of two or more. The home alarm system goes off if anyone obstructs a beam.

Glass Break Detectors

When a glass breaks, different bands of frequencies are generated including ultrasonic waves that are audible to humans as well as infrasonic that humans cannot hear. These sensors are installed next to glass panes, and the alarm sets off instantly when the glass breaks
